General Superintendent Commercial Construction

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent to lead complex commercial construction operations, coordinate project teams, and deliver work in alignment with company standards and goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct project execution, construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and field staffing.
• Lead safety, quality, scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, documentation, and project closeout activities.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, design teams, authorities, vendors, and internal project leadership.
• Manage multiple complex projects or project teams and support regional strategic initiatives.
• Recruit and develop field talent while promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Required Experience

• At least 12 years of construction experience, including 10 or more years in field supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced communication, presentation, construction means and methods, trade, self-perform, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging knowledge.
• Experience with project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology software, as well as Lean processes, is preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
