Graduate Engineer, Civil Geotech

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is hiring an entry-level Civil Geotechnical Engineer to contribute to infrastructure projects that address critical challenges in communities worldwide. This is a full-time, college hire position based in Overland Park, Kansas, with relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering deliverables including drawings, reports, specifications, and studies under supervision.
• Perform routine research and develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection.
• Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work.
• Prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
• Coordinate with project team members as directed by project leadership.
• Support business development and pursuit activities as needed.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program required.
• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis, or Geological Engineering preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles, construction practices, and quality programs.
