Hoisting Foreman (Lift Director)

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Hoisting Foreman (Lift Director) to supervise project hoisting operations, coordinate lift crews, and maintain safe, compliant crane activities in Atlanta.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate crane assembly, disassembly, setup, movement, and daily operations.
• Lead, train, and organize assembly and disassembly crews, mechanics, drivers, and operators.
• Develop project-wide hoisting strategies and job-specific lift plans using site information, drawings, and equipment requirements.
• Direct complex rigging and critical lift planning while resolving conflicts among simultaneous crane activities.
• Conduct safety briefings, job safety analyses, quality checks, operator evaluations, and equipment inspections.
• Verify that maintenance and repairs follow manufacturer specifications and are properly documented.

Required Experience

• At least five years of mobile crane assembly and disassembly, operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of crane maintenance, rigging, lift planning, and assembly and disassembly productivity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 3D Lift Plan.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a professional non-union position with JE Dunn's associated benefits package. Overnight travel may occasionally be required.
