HSE Coordinator

Job Summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support health, safety, and environmental activities for an industrial construction project based out of West Texas.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of project HSE and environmental plans, regulatory requirements, emergency procedures, and security protocols.
• Help deliver project-specific HSE training and develop hazard identification tools and corrective action plans.
• Perform site inspections, verify equipment and tool inspection records, and monitor completion of corrective actions.
• Review trade contractor documentation and support compliance monitoring.
• Report incidents to stakeholders and assist with investigations.
• Build effective working relationships with project teams, trade contractors, and craft personnel.

Required Experience

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Working toward a safety designation.
• At least one year of experience in a related industry.
• Ability to learn occupational health and safety, environmental legislation, HSE processes, and construction terminology.
• Strong communication, presentation, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adopt new technology.
