HSE Supervisor

Job Summary

PCL Construction is seeking an HSE Supervisor in Phoenix to support health, safety, and environmental performance across Civil West projects. This employee-owned organization offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Support project HSE plans, regulatory compliance, safe work practices, and project-specific training.
• Identify hazards, conduct inspections, and assess trade contractor safety plans and performance.
• Maintain emergency response, site security, and environmental plans.
• Participate in incident investigations and review corrective actions.
• Build stakeholder relationships and mentor HSE Coordinators and other employees.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
• Recognized safety designation and at least five years of health and safety experience in a related industry.
• Knowledge of construction processes, occupational health and safety requirements, environmental legislation, and HSE systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to adopt new technology.
