Industrial Project Coordinator

Job Summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Project Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of industrial construction projects in Chandler, Arizona. This role works closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to drive field coordination, document control, and cost and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys to track contract progress and reporting.
• Coordinate with trade contractors and provide day-to-day direction as needed.
• Manage subcontract administration, including scope definition, inquiry response, and progress monitoring.
• Review drawings with designers and engineers and propose value-added construction methods or materials.
• Support change order management, including pricing, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impacts.
• Assist with site inspections to resolve constructability issues, verify code compliance, and sign off on systems commissioning.
• Review subcontractor submittals for scope and design compliance across disciplines.
• Maintain project document control processes including RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and as-built drawings.

Required Experience

• 4–7 years of experience in an operational construction role preferred.
• Construction trade certification, diploma, or bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, HSE standards, building materials, and ASME piping codes.
• Intermediate engineering and problem-solving ability applied to construction challenges.
• Experience administering subcontracts and contract documents.
• Ability to create and schedule projects valued between $1.5M and $3M.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Baseplate or similar platforms a plus.
