Project Engineer

Job Summary

Granite is hiring a Project Engineer to coordinate engineering work for water treatment systems, supporting effective project delivery, quality, and cost management.

Project Details

The role supports projects involving municipal drinking water and industrial process water treatment, including filtration, ion-exchange, and membrane systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop system proposals, scopes, process designs, and project cost estimates.
• Guide design teams on process diagrams, project drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Plan pilot testing, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.
• Support project management, field service, system installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing to define customer needs and evaluate design options.
• Prepare project submittals and operations and maintenance manuals, and provide technical training.

Required Experience

• Five or more years of industrial and water treatment process design and application experience, including municipal and industrial water.
• Knowledge of filtration, ion-exchange, and membrane treatment systems.
• A relevant engineering degree is preferred; equivalent technical training and experience may qualify.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, conceptual system design, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range is $83,188-$124,782. Benefits include paid leave, health and insurance plans, and a 401(k) match of 100% on the first 6% of eligible compensation deferred by salaried employees, with immediate vesting.
