MEP Project Manager I & II

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring MEP Project Managers at Levels I and II to lead MEP-heavy projects or scopes, overseeing delivery and developing project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost codes, invoices, and owner billings.
• Select and oversee trade partners, suppliers, contracts, and project financial performance.
• Coordinate 3-D models to address clashes before installation and manage commissioning, functional testing, and closeout.
• Lead and develop assistant project managers and project engineers, and serve as the primary owner contact.

Required Experience

• Construction, civil, architectural, mechanical, or electrical engineering degree, or equivalent field experience.
• Level I requires at least six years of construction management experience; Level II requires at least seven years. Mechanical or electrical contractor experience is preferred.
• Current driver's license, ability to manage complex projects from development through closeout, and intermediate Microsoft Office and project application skills.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.

Compensation and Benefits

Level I base salary: $113,500-$170,300/year. Level II base salary: $132,100-$198,200/year. Actual ranges are higher in specified office locations. The role is eligible for an incentive plan.
