Project Manager - Railroad Division

Job Summary

Lunda Construction is hiring a Project Manager for its Railroad Division in Milwaukee to manage infrastructure projects across the Upper Midwest.

Project Details

The role supports railroad, bridge, and heavy civil infrastructure work at sites throughout the Upper Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Plan project budgets, schedules, staffing, equipment, and resources.
• Track costs, forecast financial results, and manage project risk.
• Coordinate owners, field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and other project partners.
• Monitor construction progress, communicate schedule changes, and lead progress meetings.
• Maintain project records and help ensure work meets quality, budget, and safety requirements.
• Visit active sites, participate in safety audits, and contribute to site-specific safety plans.

Required Experience

• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant heavy civil project management experience is preferred.
• Railroad bridge construction experience and direct work with railroad representatives are preferred.
• Must be able to travel throughout the Upper Midwest, interpret contract plans and specifications, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
