Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Pipelayer Foreman to lead heavy civil crews performing underground utility work in Riverview, Florida.

Project Details

The role supports installation and maintenance of water mains, storm drainage, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers using ductile, steel, PVC, and HDPE pipe.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field employees, production goals, work plans, and project schedules.
• Promote job-site safety and oversee trenching, rigging, signaling, and equipment operations.
• Read plans, establish line and grade, use a level, and set up a pipe laser.
• Inspect equipment, assist with cost control, maintain time records, and prepare reports.

Required Experience

• Heavy civil construction and pipe-laying experience.
• Experience with ductile, steel, PVC, and HDPE pipe.
• Prior trench safety and rigging/signaling training.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.
