Piping Superintendent - Primoris Energy Services

Job Summary

Primoris Energy Services is hiring a Piping Superintendent to lead industrial piping construction from installation through testing, mechanical completion, and turnover.

Project Details

Work may include industrial, refining, petrochemical, LNG, and power generation projects, with piping systems ranging from process and utility lines to steam, fuel gas, and underground installations.

Responsibilities

• Direct piping craft teams, foremen, general foremen, and subcontractors while coordinating work with other disciplines.
• Plan installation sequences, manpower, materials, and equipment; review drawings and resolve field constraints.
• Oversee fabrication, welding, inspections, testing, system walkdowns, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
• Promote site safety, lead pre-task planning, and monitor progress, productivity, and reporting.
• Support commissioning, startup, schedule recovery, and mechanical completion.

Required Experience

• 7–10 years of piping construction experience and 3–5 years in a piping supervisory role.
• Experience with piping installation, fabrication, welding, testing, isometrics, P&IDs, and mechanical completion.
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS, OSHA, and applicable piping codes; high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license required.
• NCCER certification and OSHA 30 are preferred; construction software experience is also preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours and in industrial field conditions, and travel to remote project locations.
