Job Summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking a senior-level Project Controls Manager to lead analytics, reporting, and project controls support for power construction programs based in Lenexa, Kansas.

Project Details

The role supports major power generation and solar EPC projects across North America, with work performed alongside union craft teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, engineering, project management, clients, estimating, and business management to establish effective controls.
• Analyze automated reports and provide data-driven recommendations to project leadership.
• Track budgeted, actual, and forecasted quantities, labor hours, and costs.
• Lead internal audit preparation and completion.
• Coach project controls staff and represent the function in meetings, training, and presentations.
• Maintain project controls systems, including P6, InEight, and automated reporting tools.
• Evaluate contract provisions that affect project controls processes.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of experience in business consulting, engineering, or construction.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of P6 and the ability to become an InEight super-user.
• Reliable attendance, safe work practices, and flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed.
