Project Engineer

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in Tampa to support project management activities and help keep construction work organized, documented, and on schedule. This entry-level opportunity is suited to candidates pursuing project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate projects, including setup and closeout activities.
• Assist with material purchasing, estimating, scheduling, and crew coordination.
• Maintain project records, job-cost information, and other documentation.
• Support field operations and communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to travel and work the schedule required by project needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary starts at $80,000.
