Project Engineer Baltimore, MD

Job Summary

Support project leadership on commercial construction work in Baltimore by helping coordinate project controls, documentation, quality, procurement, and field execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with cost, schedule, documentation, and daily project coordination.
• Track submittals, RFIs, change requests, procurement activities, and subcontract administration.
• Help maintain project schedules, look-ahead plans, quantity tracking, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, design professionals, and project stakeholders to address construction issues.
• Prepare meeting materials, record follow-up items, and support quality and safety documentation.
• Use Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools to support project delivery.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, drawing interpretation, and project controls.
• Proficiency with construction technology platforms, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software.
• Strong organization, communication, prioritization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
