Project Engineer - Primoris Heavy Civil - Laredo, TX

Job Summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is hiring a Project Engineer to support project management and field teams on heavy highway and infrastructure work from its Laredo office.

Project Details

The company's heavy civil work includes highway, port, airfield, rail, and marine transportation projects for public agencies and private clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, quality control, procurement, and project documentation.
• Monitor field progress and support compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Contribute to project estimates, quantity take-offs, progress reporting, and closeout documentation.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in heavy civil construction or a related industry.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.
• Primavera P6, HCSS HeavyJob, or Bluebeam experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
