Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Project Engineer in Denver to support project management and help keep water and wastewater construction work organized, documented, and on schedule.

Project Details

This role supports water and wastewater infrastructure projects and works closely with owners, architects, engineers, field teams, and project management staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals, RFIs, project documentation, setup materials, and closeout records.
• Support material purchasing, estimating, scheduling, crew coordination, and field operations.
• Track job costs and coordinate project activities from startup through completion.
• Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organization, planning, attention to detail, and willingness to work the schedule needed for project success.
• Suitable for an entry-level project management professional seeking construction industry experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $80,000-$110,000 per year, with company-paid medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with 3.5% match, company stock, paid time off, paid holidays, HSA contributions, life and disability insurance, weekly pay, and additional wellness and support programs.
