Project Manager 1

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 1 in Tampa to direct the administration, coordination, and delivery of construction projects or defined portions of larger assignments in partnership with the Project Superintendent. The role develops client, designer, subcontractor, and internal team relationships while supporting the company’s safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, prestart activities, procurement, subcontract buyout, submittals, change management, meetings, pay applications, reporting, forecasting, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, logistics, and risk management partners.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction and construction schedules, resource logs, budgets, cost forecasts, and mitigation plans.
• Support an injury-free workplace, investigate incidents, and reinforce safety expectations.
• Document project decisions and monitor scope, quality, legal, schedule, safety, and profitability considerations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least five years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction management processes, project accounting, scheduling, construction technology, and Lean practices.
• Intermediate MS Office, communication, and presentation skills, with advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours when project conditions require.
