Project Manager 1

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to direct the administrative, financial, scheduling, safety, and coordination activities for a construction project or a defined portion of a complex project in Fort Collins.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, procurement, buyout, submittals, change management, payment applications, reporting, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with the Project Superintendent on schedules, resource planning, cost forecasting, risk management, and mitigation of project impacts.
• Support preconstruction activities including quantity takeoffs, scope development, bid packages, trade coordination, and bid solicitation.
• Promote an injury-free workplace, investigate incidents, and reinforce the company safety program.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, documentation, profitability, and compliance with legal and contractual requirements.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction management methods, project processes, scheduling, budgeting, accounting, and construction technology.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software; intermediate MS Office and Lean process skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $98,000-$123,000 depending on experience, with potential for a higher offer based on exceptional qualifications. The role also includes a target bonus tied to individual and company performance and a professional non-union benefits package.
