Project Manager 1 - Healthcare Construction

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 1 to support healthcare construction projects in Dallas. The role provides project leadership, administration, client coordination, and partnership with the Project Superintendent.

Project Details

This position supports healthcare construction within a commercial project environment, with assignments potentially split between project sites and the office.

Responsibilities

• Manage project startup, procurement, subcontracts, submittals, scheduling, cost controls, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, evaluate change requests, manage pay applications, and communicate project status.
• Monitor safety, quality, budget, schedule, risk, and profitability while documenting key project decisions.
• Develop mitigation plans for schedule impacts and support an injury-free work environment.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least five years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction management methods, project processes, scheduling, budgeting, and project accounting.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology software, plus intermediate MS Office and Lean process skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
