Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from its Creve Coeur team. This employee-owner role oversees multidisciplinary teams and supports client, business development, and project performance objectives.

Project Details

The role supports multi-million-dollar water-related infrastructure work, including water and wastewater treatment, linear infrastructure planning and design, asset management, and related municipal infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities for assigned projects.
• Control project cost, schedule, quality, safety, contractual compliance, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate internal disciplines, third-party contributors, engineering managers, and owner representatives.
• Lead client engagement, proposals, project budgeting, contracting, and business development initiatives.
• Oversee project staffing, team development, mentoring, performance reviews, and professional growth.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 15 or more years of program or project management and relevant technical experience preferred.
• Background in water and wastewater treatment, linear infrastructure planning and design, or water asset management preferred.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is full-time and may offer hybrid or flexible work after the first 90 days, subject to management discretion, performance, and assignments. A performance-based bonus may also be available.
