Project Safety Professional (Industrial)

Job Summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Project Safety Professional to support safety performance and maintain secure working conditions on industrial construction projects.

Project Details

Assignments may involve industrial, automotive, energy, and data center environments, with extended travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Administer project safety requirements and coordinate with customers, site teams, labor representatives, and subcontractors.
• Lead orientations, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and workforce education programs.
• Identify and help correct hazardous conditions and unsafe activities.
• Support pre-job planning, audits, incident investigations, reviews, and safety documentation.

Required Experience

• At least four years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
• CHST and OSHA 510 certifications preferred.
• Must be willing to work extended project assignments, including variable shifts, evenings, and weekends.
