Project Safety Professional (Industrial)

Job Summary

Barton Malow is hiring a Project Safety Professional to implement and enforce safety programs across industrial construction project sites. This field-based role requires extended travel and includes shift work, weekends, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Manage project safety standards to meet and exceed client and company requirements.
• Lead safety orientations, Toolbox Talks, and all project safety meetings for employees and subcontractors.
• Identify and help control hazardous conditions and unsafe activities on site.
• Conduct incident investigations and submit reports to safety leadership.
• Support pre-job planning and auditing, providing direct feedback for improvement.
• Document all safety incidents, violations, and unsafe conditions as part of the project safety program.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience in industrial, automotive, energy, or data center environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 required; First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required.
• CHST and OSHA 510 preferred.
• Must be willing to travel for extended periods for project assignments.
