Job Summary

Holder Construction is hiring a Safety Director for its electrical equipment fabrication facility in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This in-person leadership role will strengthen safety culture and integrate risk management with facility operations.

Project Details

The role supports manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, maintenance, and related operations at an electrical equipment fabrication facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety strategy and develop safety professionals, supervisors, and operational leaders.
• Coordinate safety planning with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and executive teams.
• Oversee hazard assessments, incident investigations, safety metrics, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Guide high-risk work involving machine guarding, lockout/tagout, cranes and rigging, powered industrial trucks, hot work, confined spaces, welding, and material handling.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, support emergency preparedness, and promote employee participation in safety programs.

Required Experience

• Extensive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, fabrication, heavy production, or similar operations.
• Experience integrating safety into production, maintenance, equipment installation, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety programs for manufacturing and fabrication environments.
• OSHA 500 required; CSP or equivalent senior safety certification preferred.
• A related bachelor's degree is preferred.
