Job Summary
JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Aptitude Project Manager in Austin to provide regional leadership for technology integration services throughout the project lifecycle. The role combines project delivery, financial oversight, team leadership, client relationships, business development, and risk management.
Project Details
Aptitude supports technology-related design, construction, installation, and network integration for modern building projects, including information technology, security, and life safety systems.
Responsibilities
- Direct technology design and construction activities while maintaining constructability, quality, technical, schedule, and financial requirements.
- Develop scopes of work, responsibility matrices, estimates, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and project proposals.
- Manage project costs, projections, billing, collections, milestones, documentation, and closeout processes.
- Lead and develop project teams, coordinate with clients and consultants, and resolve issues and risks.
- Provide regional oversight for Aptitude strategy, resources, client development, growth, and contractual performance.
- Serve as an escalation point for project, financial, business development, contractual, and client relationship concerns.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, information technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- At least 10 years of experience with information technology, security, or life safety systems.
- At least 8 years of project management experience.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to develop project proposals, fees, and work plans.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, relationship-building, and financial management skills.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
