Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

Support administration of construction projects and assist the Project Manager with project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project cost records, prepare billings, and follow up on payments.
• Develop and negotiate change orders, subcontract changes, purchase orders, and rental agreements.
• Manage project information in CMiC, prepare bid packages, and solicit and assess bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications.
• Field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Three to four years of construction experience, including at least one year in scheduling and estimating.
• Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
