Senior Project Engineer - Drywall

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support drywall-related work on construction projects in Atlanta. The role manages assigned project scopes with oversight while coordinating project administration, field execution, quality, safety, procurement, scheduling, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, scopes, change requests, procurement logs, submittals, schedules, reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, inspections, meetings, pay applications, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor field productivity, manpower, equipment, quality, safety, and progress for assigned work.
• Manage project risks, support financial and resource decisions, and help resolve issues collaboratively.
• Lead punch-list, inspection, documentation, and closeout activities.
• Use CMiC, project management tools, construction technology, and Lean practices while mentoring project team members.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least three years of construction experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, project processes, specific trade scopes, self-perform work, labor productivity, and project accounting software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and required construction technology, along with strong written, verbal, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work at project sites or in an office, lift up to 25 pounds, and work non-traditional hours when project needs require.
