Job Summary

Interstates is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead mission-critical data center electrical and fiber infrastructure work. The position is assigned to a project site in Muskogee, Oklahoma and requires travel according to project needs.

Project Details

The role supports large-scale industrial data center installations involving structured cabling, fiber pathways and terminations, testing, documentation, and high-reliability electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate field supervisors, electricians, low-voltage crews, subcontractors, owners, general contractors, and vendors.
• Manage schedules, budgets, procurement, cost tracking, change orders, and manpower and material forecasting.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals for electrical and fiber scopes.
• Monitor safety, code compliance, quality requirements, site progress, risks, and project reporting.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Six to eight years of project management experience, including at least five years leading projects.
• Experience with electrical contracting, fiber installation and termination, and data center construction environments.
• Knowledge of contracts, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, stakeholder coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet demanding deadlines, and uphold safety and quality standards.
