Senior Superintendent- Core and Shell

Job Summary

Lead field operations and oversee successful delivery of core and shell construction projects in New York.

Project Details

The position focuses on core and shell construction and may oversee multiple projects across a broad geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Direct field teams and subcontractors while maintaining safe, high-quality work.
• Build and manage project schedules, coordinate materials, and review plans, specifications, and submittals.
• Communicate with owners and architects, lead subcontractor coordination, and track project documentation and reports.
• Manage punch lists, startup testing, turnover, and project closeout.

Required Experience

• At least eight years of superintendent experience and extensive field construction supervisory experience.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Current STS certification, or ability to earn it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Knowledge of multiple construction trades, OSHA requirements, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range of $190,000-$250,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement and stock ownership programs, paid leave, disability and life insurance, educational assistance, and additional voluntary benefits.
