Sr Project Engineer

Job Summary

Granite Construction is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate onsite engineering for construction projects, supporting quality, cost control, and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls, schedules, forecasts, job costs, and engineering assignments.
• Provide technical support for construction planning, quality control, design interpretation, constructability reviews, and resolution of design conflicts.
• Develop project procedures, work-control documents, reports, and logs.
• Represent the company in client and project meetings, and supervise and mentor project staff.

Required Experience

• At least four years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera Scheduling software.
• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent technical training and experience may qualify.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $101,370-$152,054. Benefits include paid holidays and sick leave, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending plans, wellness programs, and a 401(k) match of 100% on the first 6% of eligible compensation deferred by salaried employees, with immediate vesting. Eligible employees and dependents may have access to a medical plan with premiums fully paid by Granite.
