Sr. Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water solutions work from its Greenwood Village office. The role combines client leadership, project delivery, business development, and team management for municipal infrastructure programs.

Project Details

Projects support municipalities and government clients across water and wastewater treatment, linear infrastructure planning and design, asset management, and related water infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing, strategy, opportunity development, proposals, client presentations, budgeting, and contracting.
• Manage client relationships and support market, account, and engagement strategies.
• Oversee engineering managers, project teams, performance goals, budgets, invoicing, payments, and project reviews.
• Develop, mentor, coach, and support the advancement of assigned professionals.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 15 years of program or project management and relevant technical experience.
• Background in water and wastewater treatment, linear infrastructure planning and design, and asset management.
• Business development and program or project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable engineering design principles, guides, and standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The Colorado annual salary range is $161,183-$274,010. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate. Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after the first 90 days.
