Sr Superintendent (Thermal)

Job Summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field execution for a thermal construction project in New Albany, Ohio. The role oversees site safety, quality, scheduling, trade coordination, constructability issues, and project delivery in partnership with the project team.

Project Details

This position supports a thermal construction project and requires experience managing complex field operations, site conditions, trade partners, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site operations, labor, contractors, and trade partner activities.
• Lead field safety compliance, pre-task planning, quality control, and constructability coordination.
• Develop work scopes, support bidding and contractor selection, and participate in post-bid discussions.
• Assist with cost control, forecasting, contractor changes, and budget monitoring.
• Create site logistics plans and establish the baseline schedule with subcontractor input.
• Lead pull planning and provide progress updates with six-week look-ahead schedules.
• Communicate field conditions, issues, performance, and progress to project managers, clients, subcontractors, and authorities.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
• At least 15 years of relevant construction experience, including thermal construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, legal provisions, project controls, and trade partner management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, conflict-resolution, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining strong client and team relationships.
