Superintendent 3, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 3 to lead moderately complex mission-critical construction projects in Bowling Green, Ohio. This role manages field execution, project teams, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and project completion.

Project Details

The position supports mission-critical construction projects and may involve periods of travel or relocation.

Responsibilities

• Manage stand-alone projects or major project portions from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules with the Project Manager.
• Lead daily and weekly trade meetings, progress meetings, and project review activities.
• Drive safety, quality assurance, documentation, reporting, and closeout activities.
• Manage project risks, changes, budgets, staffing, procurement, and self-perform operations.
• Build client relationships, support project pursuits, and help generate future work.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• Experience with construction means and methods, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, and construction technology.
• Intermediate knowledge of Lean practices, trade scopes, self-perform work, labor productivity, budgets, and project controls.
• Advanced layout, crane flagging, and rigging knowledge.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours as project needs require.
