Job Summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Senior Superintendent to provide hands-on field leadership for travel-based commercial construction assignments. This senior site leader will drive safe, timely, cost-controlled, and high-quality project delivery while supporting field teams and trade partners.

Project Details

This is a travel-based assignment requiring the superintendent to remain on-site at the project location for the duration of the work. The role covers commercial construction from planning through project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily construction operations across all project phases, including closeout.
• Coordinate and sequence subcontractors and trades to reduce interference and maintain progress.
• Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory procedures in the field.
• Track labor costs, material costs, inventory, inspections, and project reporting.
• Resolve trade conflicts and jurisdiction issues.
• Mentor field personnel and maintain effective communication with project teams, suppliers, and trade partners.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of superintendent leadership experience.
• At least 10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site for the full assignment.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
