Superintendent 1

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 in Dallas to support planning, field execution, safety, staffing, documentation, and timely completion of construction projects. The role offers a progression path to Superintendent 2.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, workflow, and self-perform operations.
• Drive jobsite safety, quality, schedule coordination, and compliance with project requirements.
• Lead daily and trade coordination meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Maintain schedules, cost information, drawings, logs, reports, timecards, and inspection documentation.
• Manage material and equipment needs, procurement support, staffing coordination, and closeout activities.
• Assist with project planning, change management, buyout, contract administration, and workforce development.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of construction experience, including 1 year of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management systems, accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, layout, and crane flagging and rigging.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication, presentation, documentation, collaboration, and trade-scope knowledge.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and physically active environments.
