Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 for its Advanced Facilities Group to support project planning, field execution, materials, equipment, subcontractors, documentation, and timely project completion across advanced industrial construction work.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. This role may involve travel or relocation and work during non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, company crews, suppliers, site logistics, and daily workflow.
• Lead site safety, quality, scheduling, coordination meetings, and project documentation.
• Manage materials, equipment, self-perform activities, timecards, reports, and field records.
• Work with project management on budgets, changes, procurement, staffing, buyout, closeout, and owner coordination.
• Support project planning, schedule updates, quality compliance, inspections, and pre-punch activities.
• Promote an inclusive team culture and help identify and recruit qualified field talent.

Required Experience

• At least 3 years of construction experience, including 1 or more years in field supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, self-perform operations, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, rigging, scheduling, project management, and accounting software.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varied weather and physical conditions.
