Superintendent 1-Trade

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1-Trade in Dallas to coordinate trade work, support field operations, and help deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee assigned self-perform and trade work, including crew sizing, materials, equipment, productivity, and quality.
• Lead safety practices, investigate incidents, reinforce training, and promote an injury-free work environment.
• Coordinate meetings and communication among owners, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and project teams.
• Maintain drawings, logs, daily reports, timecards, cost information, as-built records, and other project documentation.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, changes, quality compliance, and closeout activities with project leadership.
• Apply Lean practices and participate in project planning, staffing, reviews, and pre-punch coordination.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of construction experience, including 1 or more years in field supervision.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, self-perform operations, labor productivity, scheduling, project controls, and cost management.
• Intermediate communication, layout, trade-scope, crane flagging, and rigging knowledge, plus proficiency with MS Office, project management, accounting, and scheduling software.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours as project conditions require.
