Superintendent 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 in Fort Collins to lead fairly complex projects from planning through closeout, coordinating field operations, safety, quality, schedule, staffing, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, materials, equipment, and field workflow.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, reports, logs, and required documentation.
• Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings and participate in owner, architect, trade, and project review meetings.
• Direct safety, quality assurance, self-perform work, closeout activities, and project risk management.
• Coordinate project changes, procurement, staffing, cost information, and schedule impacts with project leadership.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, Lean practices, layout, rigging, and self-perform operations.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, scheduling, construction technology, and MS Office skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Lean experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $121,000-$152,000, depending on experience, with eligibility for a target performance bonus. The position is classified as professional non-union and includes the applicable JE Dunn benefits package.
