Superintendent 2 - Electrical, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to lead field operations for moderately complex electrical mission-critical construction projects. This role manages project execution, safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and field personnel from planning through closeout.

Project Details

The position supports JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group on mission-critical, data center, semiconductor, and advanced industrial and manufacturing projects. Assignments may involve a stand-alone project or a major portion of a larger project.

Responsibilities

• Direct site safety, quality, production, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Develop work plans, manage site logistics, and oversee materials, equipment, documentation, and daily reporting.
• Lead daily and weekly trade meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Maintain and adjust project schedules with the Project Manager while monitoring costs, changes, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate self-perform work, staffing, procurement, timecard approvals, inspections, closeout, and pre-punch activities.
• Communicate project status with owners, design teams, authorities, trade partners, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Support project pursuits, buyout, change negotiations, preplanning, and talent recruitment.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project controls, construction technology, accounting software, Lean practices, self-perform operations, layout, crane signaling, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and project management software skills.
• Lean experience is preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
