Superintendent 2 - Healthcare Construction

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to oversee moderately complex healthcare construction projects in Dallas. The role leads field execution, coordinates project partners, and supports safe, timely, and profitable delivery.

Project Details

This position supports healthcare construction projects with responsibility for a stand-alone project or a major portion of a larger project.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, workflow, site logistics, and project documentation.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, cost tracking, and project reports with the project management team.
• Lead safety, quality, trade, progress, and project coordination meetings.
• Manage materials, equipment, self-perform activities, procurement support, and timecard approvals.
• Coordinate inspections, quality compliance, closeout, pre-punch work, and communication with owners, designers, and authorities.
• Identify project risks, manage changes, and recommend solutions throughout project delivery.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, Lean practices, trade scopes, layout, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, documentation, and construction technology skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Lean experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
