Superintendent

Job Summary

Lead field operations and oversee construction work through project completion, closeout, and owner acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the field team, coordinate subcontractor work, and maintain the project schedule.
• Enforce safety procedures, establish quality standards, review construction documents and submittals, and coordinate subcontractor meetings.
• Plan material and tool needs, maintain project records and reports, and complete punch lists.
• Coordinate startup testing, turnover, final closeout, and owner acceptance.
• Travel as directed and oversee multiple projects across a broad geographic area when required.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory field construction experience and knowledge of multiple trades, with prior foreman, journeyman, or project engineer experience.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or ability to earn it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.

Compensation and Benefits
