Superintendent, Healthcare

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent in Tempe to oversee field execution, safety, quality, scheduling, and project coordination for assigned commercial construction work.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company personnel, site logistics, and daily workflow.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, reports, documentation, and project records.
• Lead safety, quality, trade, progress, and project review meetings.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, procurement, cost tracking, staffing, and self-perform activities.
• Manage project changes, risks, closeout activities, and communication with owners, architects, authorities, and the project team.
• Promote an injury-free, inclusive workplace and investigate safety incidents when needed.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, construction technology, Lean practices, trade scopes, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, scheduling, budgeting, and collaboration skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
