Superintendent II

Job Summary

Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent II to lead field coordination, workforce supervision, project planning, and customer relationships across complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials, equipment, inspections, documents, design information, and project schedules.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and site logistics plans while managing company tools and equipment.
• Lead orientations, preconstruction sessions, site meetings, and collaboration with project partners.
• Supervise craft teams and project partners, including staffing, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Monitor productivity, work-hour coding, safety, quality, risk, compliance, and process improvement.

Required Experience

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or construction management, or 10 years of trade experience.
• At least 8 years of construction management or related experience.
• Current driver’s license and ability to manage multiple complex projects from development through closeout.
• Basic construction law knowledge, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, and strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $130,100-$192,200, with location-based adjustments in select markets.
