Superintendent Pipe Heavy Civil

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent for pipe and heavy civil work. This role requires progressive field leadership experience and a willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Champion jobsite safety and set clear site safety expectations.
• Build and maintain 6-week look-ahead schedules tied to the overall project schedule.
• Coordinate closely with project management on scope, schedule, and cost.
• Review job cost reports and manage labor quantities.
• Complete daily and periodic field reports.
• Oversee quality control across all field operations.
• Manage subcontractor performance and coordination.
• Train craft workers and mentor field engineers.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in the pipe or heavy civil construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead field crews and manage complex underground or pipe scopes.
• Willingness to travel to project locations.
