Technical Program Manager Employee Experience (EX)

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is hiring a Technical Program Manager – Employee Experience (EX) to own end-to-end delivery of digital workplace products and initiatives at their Overland Park headquarters. This role bridges EX strategy and technology execution, partnering across engineering, end user computing, service delivery, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to drive measurable improvements in the employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of assigned EX products including endpoint modernization, Day 1 onboarding, DEX tools, A/V and collaboration, and field site technology.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and lead Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release execution.
• Define support models, runbooks, and escalation paths; embed monitoring and ITSM practices into all capabilities.
• Manage experience and operational metrics (XLA-aligned) including trust, ease, confidence, adoption, and incident trends.
• Lead cross-functional execution without direct authority, holding teams and vendors accountable to commitments and quality standards.
• Align with PMO on delivery governance, portfolio prioritization, and status reporting.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 12+ years of related experience in product management, technical delivery, or engineering roles.
• Strong background in endpoint management, IT Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change), and enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, identity, and collaboration tools.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models and vendor/managed service provider management.
• Experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) tools and experience-level metrics (XLAs) preferred.
• PMP certification desired.
