Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Trade Foreman 2 for its Advanced Facilities Group in Kansas City. The working foreman will perform trade work while directing crews, coordinating resources, and supporting safe, productive project execution.

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients across the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead working crews and subcontractor teams while meeting production, quality, and safety objectives.
• Plan crew sizes, manpower, materials, equipment, schedules, and related project resources.
• Track labor hours, production units, crew information, timecards, costs, and project documentation.
• Coordinate suppliers, inspections, trade interfaces, punch lists, and assigned scope activities.
• Implement safety plans, toolbox talks, job hazard analyses, and compliance activities.
• Apply Lean practices such as daily stand-up meetings and pull planning.
• Read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and coordination drawings while guiding team development.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; related vocational or technical education preferred.
• At least 3 years of commercial construction experience and 2 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, self-perform work, labor productivity, layout, rigging, and crane flagging.
• Intermediate communication and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to interpret plans and optimize crew productivity.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and on active jobsites.
