Traveling Project Manager

Job Summary

E&K is hiring a Traveling Project Manager to lead commercial metal framing and drywall projects from planning through completion. The role is based in Denver and requires relocation to active project sites as assigned.

Project Details

Assignments may be located in Boise, Cedar Rapids, Terre Haute, Byhalia, Billings, or Wyoming, with project durations generally ranging from six to twelve months. Company-supported relocation, housing, transportation, and per diem are provided for traveling assignments.

Responsibilities

• Direct project schedules, staffing, tools, materials, subcontractors, and day-to-day execution.
• Monitor budgets, prepare financial reports, and coordinate billings and change orders.
• Establish project and accounting files and manage material purchasing and deliveries.
• Build customer relationships and supervise project team members.

Required Experience

• Three to five years of project management experience in commercial metal framing and drywall construction.
• Experience using OST and QuickBid.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
• Working knowledge of construction estimating, budgets, and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is $70,000–$125,000 based on experience. The package includes medical, dental, 401(k), disability and life insurance, paid vacation and holidays, paid parental leave, sick and volunteer time, student loan assistance, and an employee assistance program. Traveling assignments include company-paid relocation, housing, transportation, and per diem, plus eligibility for profit sharing.
