Straub Construction is a third-generation, family-owned general contractor founded in 1920 by Ernest J. Straub, Sr. and led today by Ernie Straub III. From its headquarters in Shawnee, Kansas, the roughly 65-person firm serves the greater Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line. Its portfolio centers on commercial and institutional work — education, religious facilities, senior living and healthcare, and residential development — and the company runs its projects on Procore.
