Turner Construction, founded in 1902 and widely cited as the largest general contractor in the United States, completes more than $28 billion of construction annually with over 16,000 employees. Its Kansas City office opened in 1988 and has grown to roughly 480 professionals doing about $800 million in annual revenue from 1220 Washington Street. The KC team's portfolio includes Arrowhead Stadium work, Children's Mercy Park, University of Kansas Health System facilities, KU's David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, Homefield Sports Complex, and a major EV battery manufacturing plant.
