Job Summary
PCL Construction Services is seeking a Project Manager for its Aspen, Colorado operations. This role leads the administrative, technical, financial, safety, quality, and scheduling functions for a medium-sized construction project.
Responsibilities
- Administer the construction contract and coordinate project execution from planning through closeout.
- Establish and reinforce project safety practices and support a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, quality, resources, risks, and opportunities.
- Evaluate value engineering options and communicate project performance to stakeholders.
- Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and progress payments while monitoring vendor performance.
- Interpret and enforce contract documents and coordinate design activities on applicable design-build work.
- Manage stakeholder communication, design quality reviews, constructability, and project closeout.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, building codes, construction law, and safety and quality practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, risks, opportunities, and stakeholder relationships.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software, with the ability to adopt new technology.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $123,000–$159,000 per year based on qualifications and experience. Total rewards may include an employee share purchase offering, discretionary annual performance bonus, comprehensive benefits and wellness programs, retirement plan matching, and career development programs.
