Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is hiring an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support field operations on a major sports and entertainment project in Macon, Georgia.

Project Details

The role supports a commercial sports and entertainment development, with potential relevance to higher education, aerospace, sports facilities, and healthcare construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractors, trades, site labor, and daily field activities.
• Support bid scope development, contractor qualification, post-bid discussions, and bidder communications.
• Maintain jobsite safety practices, including pre-task planning and field compliance.
• Sequence trade work to reduce conflicts and keep production moving.
• Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, contractor changes, and time-and-material documentation.
• Develop logistics plans that support productivity and limit disruption to nearby facilities and occupants.

Required Experience

• At least one year of direct construction project supervision and trade coordination.
• Four-year technical or engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-management skills with contractors, architects, owners, and project teams.
• Knowledge of construction methods, performance standards, environmental requirements, and workplace safety.
